Learn about polar explorers and build your own miniature polar shelter with Stephanie Frazier on Zoom!

This event is designed for grades 4-6, but all are welcome to join.

Recommended supplies:

• For Mapping / Polar Geography:
  • Paper or notebook
  • Pencil
  • World map printable
  • Blue crayon/marker to shade the polar regions
• For the Miniature Polar Shelter STEM Build (Students may use ANY of the following supplies at home — or come up with their own ideas!)
  • Paper (construction, copy paper, recycled cardboard)
  • Tape or glue
  • Scissors
  • Popsicle sticks, toothpicks, or straws
  • Cotton balls, paper towels, tissues, or felt
  • Aluminum foil (reflective insulation option)
  • Small boxes (tissue box, snack box, etc.)
  • Plastic cup, bowl, or container
  • Pipe cleaners or yarn
