Welcome to the Inter-District Transfer Form (IDTF) Process

Please fill out this form if you have not already obtained your signed Inter-district Transfer Form.

FAQs and Helpful Information:

What is this? The Inter-district Transfer Form (IDTF) is a crucial document for students in Oregon who wish to enroll in our program. By state law, the OpenEd program must provide the IDTF to both the district releasing the student and the partner district accepting the student into our program.

You will need a release from your resident district even if your student has never been enrolled there or has previously been released to a different district. All applicants must get a release.

Your new district will be Scappoose Online Academy, our School Partner.

How The Process Works:

  1. Fill out the IDTF above 👆🏼Or click this link.
  2. Submit the form – it will be sent to our team for processing automatically.
  3. We’ll forward your form to your current district for approval and copy you in case the releasing district needs any further information or steps for you to complete.
  4. Once approved, the accepting district in partnership with OpenEd will review and finalize your transfer.
  5. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the fully signed IDTF attached.
  6. When we send platform access you can download the finalized IDTF from your email and upload it in the IDTF section.
