MUSIC 053: Drums Basics, Part 1 of 2

This course is designed for the beginning drummer and focuses on creating a solid drumming foundation. Throughout the course, students will study the fundamentals of playing the drum set. Unit topics include developing proper technique, learning to read music for the drum set, and learning to play essential groove and fill ideas. This is the first course in a two-part Drums series.
