BIO 130 - Introduction to Environmental Science - August 19th session
This course introduces the interconnected nature of Earth's hydrosphere, lithosphere (soils and rocks), atmosphere, and biosphere. It covers a variety of topics related to environmental science. The first part of the course focuses on how soils, the hydrosphere and atmosphere act to support life. The next section introduces the biosphere and how ecosystems work. The third section focuses on energy use and global climate change. This is a session-based course that spans 8 weeks. You will move through the material with other students and have due dates.
