STEM and Problem Solving

This course outlines how to apply the concepts and principles of scientific inquiry while encouraging the use of problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to generate viable solutions. Students learn to use the scientific method, analytical tools and techniques, and how to construct and evaluate tests. They also develop the ability to review and interpret statistical information. Emphasis is placed on formatting clear problem statements, applying both quantitative and qualitative methods, and using data-driven approaches to investigate and resolve issues.
