First-Year Latin, Part 1 teaches basic grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and reading skills as well as Latin influences on the English language. It also includes translations that focus on the mythology, culture, and history of Rome. This is the first course in a four-part Latin series (LATIN 041, 043, 051, and 053).
