K - 12th
Provider: OpenEd Community Events
Instructor-guided learning

Friday, October 24 at the following time (by time zone):

  • Pacific Time: 11 am
  • Mountain Time: 12 pm
  • Central Time: 1 pm
  • Eastern Time: 2 pm

This event is recommended for grades 3-7, but all are welcome to attend.

Buckle up for a virtual road trip through history as we explore how the U.S. National Parks came to be—and why they matter today! We’ll travel through a timeline of the parks, spotlight three iconic locations, and dive into what makes each one truly unique. Then you’ll get a chance to design a national park of the future!

Recommended supplies:

  • Paper
  • Colored pencils/markers/crayons
  • Optional: playdough or modeling clay (or other supplies of your choice to build your own national park)

By signing up, you agree to follow our guidelines for virtual meeting etiquette.
