APHIST 064: AP World History: Modern, Part 2 of 2
AP World History: Modern, Part 2 covers global history from 1750 to the present, including topics such as the Enlightenment, revolutions, industrialization, imperialism, and major global conflicts like World Wars I and II and the Cold War. Students will also explore contemporary issues such as global security and ongoing global challenges. This is the second course in a two-part series designed to prepare students for the AP World History: Modern exam. The BYU Independent Study course includes a separate must-pass final exam for course credit but does not administer the AP exam or include its fee in tuition. Students must arrange to take the AP exam at a local school using the AP Course Ledger; be aware many schools have an ordering deadline of November 15th.
