CTE 054: Veterinary Science: The Care of Animals
As animals increasingly influence human lives, veterinary science plays a crucial role in understanding their health and well-being. In this course, students will explore the care of animals in homes, farms, zoos, and wildlife sanctuaries, examining common diseases, treatments, and preventive measures. Emphasis is placed on the impact of toxins, parasites, and infectious diseases, not only on animals but also on human populations. Through the lens of veterinary medicine, students will study the science behind preventing and treating animal health issues.
