You will make connections between our not-so-distant ancestors and humans today and you will learn about the development of society including how governments form, how religions played a role in our historical development, how and why we grow food, how ancient societies contacted each other, and how humans created cultures everywhere from the African kingdoms of Mali to the Hohokam of Arizona.
