This course focuses on select allied health careers, exploring a range of roles, responsibilities, work settings, education and training requirements, and levels of patient interaction. Students examine the day-to-day realities of various positions, including salary expectations and workplace environments. Across all careers, the course emphasizes key professional standards such as ethical behavior, teamwork, patient safety, infection prevention, cultural competence, and adherence to laws and regulations.
