In Oregon, OpenEd partners with the Scapoose school district to provide 1,000+ K-8 students a program that provides a personalized learning experience that nurtures their individual talents, passions, and potential for distance, remote and homeschool families.
Families and students in Oregon can apply for the OpenEd program and enroll their student in the Scapoose school district at the beginning of or at mid-year.
The OpenEd program has the flexibility of homeschooling, the technical innovation, and the resourcing and support of a public school with Kansas approved curriculum and Kansas certified teachers all at NO COST to you!
Even better, families approved for the program are eligible to receive courses, clubs, support, and reimbursements for approved educational expenses like technology and curricula.
